Hartford Farmers Coop., Inc. was organized in August, 1969 with a group of 21 farmers indicating a need for a farmer-owned farm supply store, feed mill and grain tanks for purchasing grain and also storing grain. Since the Coop was organized several improvements have been made. This includes dry and liquid fertilizer trucks and spreader buggys. Also in September, 1997, we purchased the Farmers Favorite retail store in Hartford.
